About Me
Despite the angelic image that is attributed to hospice nurses, it was a road less than heavenly that led me on this journey to end-of-life care.
I've made a lot of mistakes, even landed in jail a time or two, before I finally got my act together.
Although I'm sorry for the things I did, I don't regret my past. To do so would imply I would change it if I could and to be honest, I wouldn't change a thing! Wading through, and overcoming, the myriad of crap that was my young adult life is what helped me to be who and where I am today.
But enough of that let me skip to the good stuff .. I am a mom, grandma and wife. I currently work part-time as a hospice quality nurse helping to improve patient care through helping other hospice nurses.
The rest of my time is spent on my social media side hustle, and playing in my garden.
Together with my husband, I live in a cabin in the mountains of Eastern Washington with our cat Pam and our dog Kevin.
Being a hospice nurse has taught me to embrace
every minute of our short time on earth.
